Reflections (GEP 2)

IRENE MOLINA

I realized that GEP is not only about learning English (or any language) through other areas in the school and extending more hours, that is not the only idea; it goes further, it has to do with an educational change, a way to teach and learn, a methodology that unifies strategies and tools for a significant knowledge.

GEP 2 required a hard training course, that is the truth, but I am grateful for being part of it. To me, the best part of it is when I see real and positive results, I feel so proud of my students. And this would not happen without a planning based on the ideas of this program.

I would like to thank again those who made possible this project at some point:

Many thanks Monica, Anabel and Laura, for being the best trainers we could have: you are exemplary teachers but you also have a big heart.

Thanks to the rest of trainees, for sharing your experiences, for learning together.

Thank you to my colleagues Dori and Esther, you are both like a shining star that makes things easier, it is a pleasure to work with you, we are a super tandem!

Thanks to the school team of my center, Teresa and Laia, for giving us always support.

Let’s keep it in mind: this is not the end, this is the engine of change!

ESTHER EGEA

I started  cooperating with GEP2 for the first time during this course 2018-19.
At the beginning, I was a little bit afraid of it,because I didn´t know really which changes will bring me in my professional life, but now, I´m really happy, because I have learned how to create and apply PBL projects,as a new methodology at school, and children seems to be more curious and motivated.

By the other hand,GEP2, it has been a very good opportunity to improve the linguistic multilingual competence, after giving them language content models.
Also,I want to thanks our trainers Laura and Monica, the opportunity to reflect on the learning and assessment process, and to keep in touch with new apps and technologies to use with our pupils.

Moreover,it has been a very successful opportunity to create a PBL “Help the Bees in Sabadell”with my colleague Irene Molina,a very hard worker person.I believe, we have been cooperating deeply to create this unique project and experience.

Finally, I would like to express my gratitude to our management school team,Teresa and Laia, who have always given us their support and have greatly facilitated that our tasks were carried out.
